This Privacy Policy does not extend to cover information we collect, and how we use it, when you register on our website or become a client of ProActivTax, which have their own privacy policy available for you to read.


What information do we collect about you?

In order to keep you up to date by email, we collect your email address and name. If provided, we will also collect the name of the business you work for, the business address and business phone number.

How will we use the information about you?

The information we collect will be used to send you emails and keep you updated on

  • news and ideas on how accountants are more successful with tax services,
  • invite you to our future tax webinars,
  • invite you to our future tax events,
  • seek your views on tax changes, and
  • let you know about new or FREE resources we are sharing with accountants.


We will not use your personal data for any other purpose unless you become a client of ProActivTax.

We will NOT share your personal data with third parties. 

For the avoidance of doubt, all communications sent by us under this agreement should be considered as Direct Marketing and your agreement to us keeping you updated is your consent to receive email communications of this nature. We will only send the emails if you consent to receiving them.

Only if you become a client of ProActivTax will we rely upon the legal basis of 'contract' for processing personal data to fulfil our contractual obligations. A separate Privacy Policy is available for clients of ProActivTax. A client is any individual or business that has a paying relationship with ProActivTax or one of the group businesses. Even so individuals will still be able to unsubscribe to emails or change their email preferences.

Unsubscribing or opting out of future emails 

You have the right to unsubscribe or opt-out at any time to receiving emails, either by following links included in the footer of each email or by sending us an email to with 'unsubcribe' in the subject line.

If you unsubscribe, emails will immediately stop being sent to you and your personal data will be removed after 60 days.


Changing preferences

You have the right to change what topics you receive emails on at any time, either by following links included in the footer of each email or by sending us an email to with 'Change preferences' in the subject line and details of the changes.
