Here is our suggested approach to maximise the benefit from RemReview software in client meetings.
Identify whether tax savings are possible? Open RemReview and enter some initial information to identify if tax savings possible for one or more scenarios.
If meeting worthwhile, invite your client to meet to explore possible savings. Open RemReview, open client review and download the invitation letter for your client.
Follow up invitation with a call to your client to come for a meeting.
Get documents ready for meeting from RemReview such as
Make sure you are comfortable with RemReview software and the issues likely to be covered.
Provide a copy of the agenda to your client.
Enter the figures into RemReview software in the details section or go through the figures you have already entered with your client, so your client is aware of the information entered and can let you know of future changes.
Explore the various options available to your client in the “Options” section within RemReview software. They may be open to exploring all options or prefer to focus on 1 solution.
Discuss the issues covered in the client summaries relating to the option/s being considered.
Fine tune the preferred solution within the comparison section of RemReview. You can quickly make changes or even ask the software to calculate the most tax efficient combination.
Provide a summary of the figures. Within RemReview you can generate “summary figures”, which restates the main on-screen figures.
Use the appropriate liability summaries to explain to your client the likely tax payments due as a result of the proposed changes.
Price and secure work.
Open link to EffectivePrice (if you have access) to produce price quote for work identified. EffectivePrice will allow you to price up to 3 levels of service which matches perfectly the ProActivTax systems. If you have access to your own pricing software then use this to provide a quote for services identified.
Provide a summary of your meeting discussions a couple of days after the meeting.
Open RemReview, open client review, and then produce Tailored report for client. If you generate the report in word format (switch is in General settings) you can personalise as you wish or you can email directly the report the software produces.
Deliver the tax savings.
